My Thoughts on the West Virginia Mine Disaster

I Sir Percy cannot bear the horrible news about the "West Virginia Mining Disaster". It is sad to hear about the 29 miners that died and the 3 that are still missing. I met the miners wife's and they told me that the reason that the "Great Branch" of the mine blew up because there was too much carbon monoxide that built up in the branch causing the explosion. They told me that it has happened before but the reason there mad is because one their husbands died and two the mine has a prevention system.

The company was fined 4.2 million dollars for the accident because someone was suppose to check the carbon monoxide meter every month but no one checked it in six months. That is why I think they deserved the fine even though it wasn't totally their fault because whoever they sent down to check the meter didn't causing this fatal accident.

It reminds me of the “Reign of Terror” and how me and my loyal friends saved some of those poor nobles that got killed on the guillitine. Because they were nobles it was very tragic just like this. But the “Reign of Terror” was intentional this was an accident.
